Welcome to our blog. We are Darrell and Elaine Christian from Jackson, Tennessee and Naples, Florida (aka Volunteertraveler from Cruisecritic.com). We are retired and have fun traveling and seeing the world. Thanks for being interested in our upcoming trip! Our son - Matthew just married his beautiful bride Lauren on July 11, 2009. The wedding was fantastic - the honeymoon was in St. Lucia. So now we are finishing up our planning for Europe.
The Trip:
Departure on August 27, 2009 and return October 13, 2009 traveling to Moscow, Russia; Stockholm, Sweden; a back-to-back cruise on Oceania in the Baltic Sea (Stockholm to London) then Western Mediterranean (London to Rome); and finish up with Italy - 5 nights in Sienna and 3 nights in Rome.
Darrell and I have been on 2 previous Oceania cruises - and enjoy combining land trips in conjunction with cruises. But this is our first blog - so we will see how it goes.
