Bismark is the capital of North Dakota - in the heart of the northern plains. We only drove through and snapped a couple of photos of the state capitol, former Govenor's home and the capitol grounds. Also featured is a statue of Sacagawea ("Bird woman")- the Shoshone Indian girl who aided the Lewis and Clark expedition.
