Montepulciano's Duomo is really plain for Tuscany without a marble facade the city ran out of money to finish.. Inside is also austere. But the central location in the Piazza Grande shows its importance in the community.
The architecture is really diverse in Montelpuciano. The Contucci Palace dating back to the 15th century -is in the Renaissance style. Descendants of the Contucci family still live in the Palace.
