Our home for the last 2 nights of our Mexico trip are relaxing at the wonderful beach town of Aukmal - the Turtle. We had a lovely little bungalow alongside the gulf with great views.
We had intended to go snorkeling - but the wind really picked up on the second day and the water was rough. The dive shop would not open to even allow the rental of snorkel equipment.
But the weather was nice and sunny enough for me to get a terrible sunburn.
