Thala Beach at the Thala Beach Resort was a wonderful place to see part of the famous 4-mile beach at Port Douglas, Australia. Plenty of hammocks, chairs and even a colorful beach house bar are part of the amenities of the resort - however the incoming storm kept guests away from the beach. Our room was also a tree house type one room bungalow with a nice wonderful view of the beach
