We transitioned from the humid rainforrest to the dry desert of the Northern Territory to visit Uluru - better known as Ayers Rock in the middle of the Australian Outback. The colors of the rock transition during the day based on the amount of sunlight and the time of the day. The Aboriginal People still value Uluru as a Sacred place in their culture. The well worn path up the mountain is the dangerous way to ascend to the top of the rock. People look like ants from far away. However the native people do not want people to climb.
