We really enjoyed visiting the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch. Six of our 8 people in the group had been to Antarctica recently - so the center was fun and informative.

"Ice Voyage" is considered suitable for all ages, but parental discretion is recommended for children under 5 in determining whether they may enjoy the somewhat loud audio, realistic animal close ups and the 4D 'effects' of seat movement and water spray.
