We were looking forward to the day in Rarotonga! We had booked a day of scuba diving with Dive Rarotonga.
Unfortunately - our Captain decided not to tender? Rough seas were given as the reason for not going ashore. Needless to say - we were disappointed. We could see there was a small amount of rough water at the entrance to the harbor. But we later found out - that the seas calmed within a hour and it would have been fine to send the tenders. Oceania opened the bars - free drinks for all! That helped - but we were disappointed(--!
