Crossing the International Dateline Party!

We are sailing east toward the Cook Island - and crossing the international date line.  So it's like Groundhog day - we go to bed and it is Tuesday, April 17.  We wake up the next day and it Tuesday, April 17th.  So we had to celebrate getting to do it over again!

Sergey - our wonderful butler (for the second time on a long cruise!) helped me set up the room - with appetizers and wine glasses.  He even borrowed flowers from reception (don't tell!!) to make the setting more festive!

What is Steve saying?  There's not enough to eat??  We made it up for it by having enough to drink!  I think Darrell is ok with that!

We cleared off the desk and vanity area to set up the food.

Two photos of Patricia and Elaine.

Darrell and Elaine - we love cruising!!

Our entire group - Linda and David, Darrell and Elaine, Patricia and Steve, Nancy and Stephen.  We were also able to get an extra night in Polo!  So they saved us a wonder table in the back in case we were too rowdy!
A wonderfully fun evening with the Polo Staff!!  One of the greatest things about Oceania is the diversity of their staff - and most remarkable - they hire funny, friendly and nice staff.  The staff make the travel special!

The cool thing about cruise critic - is you meet such great people who love the adventure of travel.  We had met Nancy and Steve on a Oceania cruise in Europe - and were delighted to sail with them again.  We are so fortunate to have made wonderful friends on this cruise.
