"The King's whistle" Mapu'a Vaea blowholes on the beach at Tonga at Houma. An amazing stretch of several miles with the ocean water shooting high from the blowholes formed in the volcanic rocky shore.

Toni - a British ex pat has built an interesting empire - Toni's Guesthouse - on the coast of the island of Tonga. He entertained us for the day - driving the circle of the island. The roads are terrible - rutted and sometimes almost impassable - but Toni's running comentary will distract you. If you don't want his opinion - don't ask. We found him very knowledgable and were very happy that we took his tour. See link below.
At the end of the day - we actually visited Toni's compound - several houses used as a hotel and a packpackers lodge. We drank Kava - which Toni swears will cure almost any ill. It is nasty! But - hey what is a trip if you don't go with the flow. We didn't suffer from the effects - but not sure we want anymore.
