3 Leopards in 3 trees with a dead gazelle. Seronera River, Serengeti

Leopards drag their kill up into a tree to protect it from being taken by other predators.  There is 1 leopard in this tree near the center of the tree.  The dead gazelle is to the left.

Leopard 2 lower right branch

Leopards are very nocturnal hunters.  So sleeping in the trees during the day is the norm.

Leopard 3 first lower fork of the tree

The three leopards were just hanging out as crowds gathered to watch

This leopard is just draped over the branch of the tree and seemed to just be sleeping
