A central part of downtown Stockholm is a park area - Kungstadgarten. The plaza is filled with outdoor cafes, fountains and gardens. We watched men playing chess on a huge board marked out on the ground. A "big band" stage band was playing at the stage - many people were gathered to listen to the music and to dance. We thought of our good friend Fred Baker and how much he would have loved this music!
