Sub Saharan Africa - our first visit to this legendary land. We arrived from Amsterdam - traveling with our friends - Steve and Patricia Champ (from Atlanta and Seaside, FL). Countless hours of research to determine our travel schedule.
Our home in Nairobi is the Intercontinental Hotel.
First glimpse of the Central Business District of Nairobi is from Uhuru Park - a green belt that boarders the city. This park is also used for large gatherings and special events.
Uhuru Gardens - another park - located just outside the Central Business District is home to the Independence Monument which was built in 1983 to celebrate independence from Britain.
